Spotlight on the Community

Every year, since we've began, we've managed to make time for the Gray Georgia Christmas Parade. We love to see the smiling faces on the kids and adults alike. It's become a tradition at Grant. The first year, the theme was "Candy Christmas", so we built and hand-painted a GIANT WHITMAN SAMPLER BOX and handed out candy to the kids.

Bigger and Better

In 2017, the theme was "A Dr.Seuss Christmas". We were decked out with Grinch inflatables, but we weren't "Grinching it",  we decided to hand out Glow Sticks. The kids loved it! We try to top ourselves each year. What will we come up with in 2018?!

Big thanks, to the Gray Jaycees for hosting the parade each year!

Full Of Hot Air

We decked our truck with Grinch inflatables for the 2017 Gray Christmas Parade. It was the only time we've inflated anything, around here...

Local Charities

One of the most incredible aspects of running a local business, is being able to sponsor and support local charities. The Jay's Hope Foundation is one of our favorite! The 2018 ride is coming up. Click the link to see the event details.

Off the bike, and into the boat

From local Rides to Fishing Tournaments, we are thankful to be able to sponsor a handful of them each year. Thanks to our wonderful customers, that list grows every year. The Hunter Mimbs Memorial Scholarship Fund is partly funded by the Hunter Mimbs Memorial Fishing Tournament. Click the link for more information.

Local Sports

There is nothing like watching local Highschool Football, and the Hounds are going to turn up the heat! We are proud to be able to help sponsor the Jones County Greyhounds again this year. GO HOUNDS!

Off To The Races

There's Hunter Cossette, holding that checkered flag! We sure do like having our name on the side of that racecar. I know it looks better, and I'm pretty sure it makes it GO FASTER. lol

Back On The Bike

Y'all, I can't say enough about Joel, down at The Leatherman in Eastman, Georgia. He is ALWAYS doing something for the community!.We have been able to help sponsor a few things with him, and we hope to continue. Check out one of his biggest endeavors to date: Sidecar Adventures

Shop Local

I can't say this enough. SHOP LOCAL. One of the reasons Joel is able to support his community, is because y'all support HIM. It's the same with us, we couldn't do a thing without the support of our awesome customers, keeping us in the road. If you find yourself in Eastman, stop in and BUY SOMETHING! Tell him Grant Industrial Transportation sent you.

Local Firearm Education

Nancy Mason is supporting her community in a fine way, she is teaching firearm education. Locked & Loaded Ladies is a great place for females to learn all aspects of firearm ownership and marksmanship (er, marksPERSONship.) See her page for more info.

Mom & Pop

You don't really think of a trucking company as a "Mom & Pop" Shop, but Sandy and Skip Grant started this company in late 2015 with the intention of building something fine. (One of them may have been thinking bigger than the other, but I digress...) Since then, they have built Grant Industrial Transportation into an efficient machine that provides logistic support to many different industries and companies. Using our small company helps the local economy just as buying from a neighborhood store.

Building A Team

Around mid 2018, Grant Industrial Transportation had grown to the point where we need help to grow. Krystopher joined the ranks, and we are glad to have him onboard! One of the advantages of being a small company, is that we can handpick the best people to help us grow! Rest assured that only the best people wear the GRANT uniform  and drive the GRANT trucks.
